TMJ //

What is it?

  • Did you know that the temporal-mandibular junction is the most used joint in the human body?  This joint is in motion during eating, talking, and possibly during sleep (snoring).   Patients having TMJ pain will describe a painful click or pop when opening/closing their mouths.  Many factors can lead up to TMJ including: eating hard foods, prolonged opening of mouth, congenital, or idiopathic.

What are the Symptoms?

  • Painful click/pop, jawlock, headache
